Sloppy Joe’s – No Ketchup Needed!!


I’ve been dying for some sloppy, Sloppy Joe’s lately! This was one of my favorite meals growing up, despite the fact my mother used canned Manwich. In my defense, I didn’t know difference back then, but I do now! {What a difference!!}


I went out on a limb here and came up with this delicious alternative to your traditional Sloppy Joe’s based off of what I had on hand; which Paleo ketchup was not one of them. I’ll admit I was slightly lazy in the kitchen yesterday so making it homemade was out of the question, hell, I didn’t even make Paleo buns. Instead, I toppled it over Siete’s Grain-Free Tortilla Chips and made Sloppy Joe ‘Nachos’. {Soo good!!} Plus, the kids {and husband} went crazy over it!


I don’t think ‘we’ll ever eat Sloppy Joe’s any other way!


Naturally free of grains, gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, legumes, and all things processed. Enjoy extra family time tonight with this one pan ready in 30 minutes meal! {This is like music to my ears!}

  • 1.5 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 1 Bell Pepper diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Aminos
  • 1 TSP Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 TSP Chili Powder
  • 1 TSP Paprika
  • 1/2 TSP Oregano
  • 1/2 TSP Cayenne Powder
  • 1/2 TSP Pepper
  • 1/2 TSP Salt


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in EVOO, garlic, onions, and bell peppers. Cook vegetables down for about five minutes.

  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain fat.

  3. Add the rest of your ingredients, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low for 25 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  4. Top over your favorite Paleo bun, bread, chip, or tortilla, and enjoy!
